2025 Genesis Scottish Open odds, predictions: Top picks, bets, longshots to back at this week's PGA Tour tournament
Golf insider Eric Cohen has broken down the 2025 Genesis Scottish Open field and locked in his predictions and best bets
The 2025 Genesis Scottish Open is a co-sanctioned event between the PGA Tour and the DP World Tour, so there is a strong field headed to The Renaissance Club in North Berwick. This is the seventh year in a row that the Tom Doak designed course is hosting the event. Robert MacIntyre won the tournament last year, and the Scot is returning home after nearly winning the U.S. Open last month.Â
MacIntyre is a 33-1 longshot in the 2025 Scottish Open odds, while World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is the +360 (risk $100 to win $360) favorite. Rory McIlroy (+750), Xander Schauffele (20-1) and Tommy Fleetwood (22-1) are other 2025 Genesis Scottish Open contenders. Schauffele, the 2022 Scottish Open champion, has just one top-10 finish in 11 starts this season, but he's made 67 consecutive cuts, the longest active streak on the PGA Tour. Schauffele is +180 to finish inside the top 10 and -400 to make the cut this week.Â
Before locking in any 2025 Genesis Scottish Open picks, you NEED to see the PGA Tour predictions and best bets from golf insider Eric Cohen.
The host of Tuesday's Early Wedge Best Bets Show on SportsLine's YouTube page, Cohen is an avid golf bettor who correctly predicted the pre-tournament outright winner in eight tournaments over the last three seasons. He correctly identified Justin Thomas to win the 2025 RBC Heritage (+1800) and Ben Griffin (+4500 w/o Scheffler) to win the 2025 Charles Schwab Challenge.Â
Cohen has also called Aaron Rai (2024 Wyndham Championship, +3300), Davis Thompson (2024 John Deere Classic, +2200), Bryson DeChambeau (2024 U.S. Open, +2000), Scottie Scheffler (2024 Players Championship, +550), Rickie Fowler (2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic, +1400), Brooks Koepka (2023 PGA Championship, +2000) and Chris Kirk (2023 Honda Classic, +3500) over the last few seasons. Anyone who followed his lead could have been WAY UP!
Now, Cohen has been digging into the 2025 Genesis Scottish Open field to find the best betting value and just locked in his best bets and longshots to back.Â
This week, Cohen is fading Scottie Scheffler, even though he is a 16-time PGA Tour winner and the top favorite. Another shocker: Cohen is high on Robert MacIntyre, even though he's a 33-1 longshot. "As soon as I'm finished writing this column, I'm rushing to bet MacIntyre at this number before it drops. As mentioned above, the Scotsman won his home country's event last July holding off Adam Scott in a tight battle. In 2023, he finished solo 2nd at The Renaissance Club to Rory McIlroy. Not only is his course history elite, MacIntyre just finished solo 2nd at the U.S. Open last month to J.J. Spaun."
Moreover, Cohen is jumping on several other golfers, including one priced at 90-1! Anyone who backs these golfers could cash in HUGE. You need to see who it is before locking in any 2025 Scottish Open picks of your own.
