2025 Fantasy Football deep sleepers: Looking beyond top 150 for players everyone will want to add after Week 1

Every year, Fantasy football drafters scour the internet looking for sleepers for their drafts, but even with the numerous articles that highlight sleepers who subsequently enter a growing number of drafts and begin to rise up the ADP charts, there are still those who go overlooked and become the players everyone wants off waivers in Week 1.

Here, we're taking what we know about the initial 53-man rosters across the league following cutdown day and going deep-diving to try and identify some of those players ahead of time and potentially use late-round picks on their upside over players with lower ceilings. The player pool we use will be constructed only of players who do not appear in any of the top 150 rankings of any of CBS Sports Fantasy experts Jamey Eisenberg, Dave Richard and Heath Cummings as of this writing.

That means one guy who just missed the cut is Chris Rodriguez Jr., who Richard has ranked No. 143. I consider Rodriguez a sleeper to target as the Washington backfield sorts itself out, and he's typically available at the end of standard drafts. I took him in my latest two drafts with one of my final non-kicker/DST picks in each.
