2025 EchoPark Automotive 400 odds, NASCAR picks: Best bets for the Dover Motor Speedway race from proven racing expert

CBS Sports NASCAR writer Steven Taranto reveals his NASCAR picks to SportsLine for the 2025 NASCAR EchoPark Automotive 400 at Dover Motor Speedway on Sunday

ByUpdated: Jul 20, 2025 2:23PM UTC . 3 min read

Karl Larson will look to win his fourth race of the season but first since May 11 when he takes part in the fourth leg of the NASCAR In-Season Challenge at the 2025 EchoPark Automotive 400 at Dover Motor Speedway on Sunday. He placed second at Dover last year and registered a win there at the Drydene 400 in 2019. He has 12 top-10 finishes this season. Larson, the 2021 Cup Series champion, placed sixth overall last year.

Denny Hamlin is the favorite at +500, followed by Larson at +550. Other favorites include Ryan Blaney at +750, William Byron at +750 and Chase Elliott at +1100 in the latest 2025 EchoPark Automotive 400 odds, from DraftKings Sportsbook. Sunday's race is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. ET. Elliott will start on the pole for Sunday's race, followed by Chase Briscoe and Christopher Bell.

Before making any Dover Motor Speedway picks, you NEED to see what CBS Sports NASCAR writer Steven Taranto has to say.

Taranto, who moonlights as a sim racer and has 20 career wins in iRacing, is the lead NASCAR writer for CBSSports.com. Taranto was red-hot for SportsLine in 2024 as he nailed 17 winners, including 16-1 longshot William Byron at the Daytona 500 and 14-1 longshot Chase Elliott at Texas. Anybody following his NASCAR picks could have seen HUGE returns!

For the 2025 NASCAR EchoPark Automotive 400, Taranto is high on Denny Hamlin (+500). He also has a head-to-head prop bet, with Ty Gibbs (+110) to finish ahead of Tyler Reddick (-150). "Out of the two remaining In-Season Challenge matchups, Ty Gibbs' +110 odds are the most favorable if you're viewing them from a betting standpoint," Taranto said. "There isn't as much to be gained in the John Hunter Nemechek (-130) vs. Ty Dillon (-105) matchup, and Gibbs' finishes of 13th and 10th in two Dover Cup starts – plus a fifth and a third in the Xfinity Series – suggests he can hack it at this racetrack.

"Gibbs' matchup is far from easy, as Tyler Reddick has two top 10s and four top 15s in six Dover starts himself. But with only one top 10 finish in his last eight starts on ovals (excluding Atlanta where the draft factors in heavily) and the ongoing drama involving 23XI Racing's legal battle with NASCAR, there's a window of opportunity there for Ty to get the best of the matchup and advance to the final round of the In-Season Challenge at Indianapolis."

Taranto has also identified four other drivers in his 2025 NASCAR EchoPark Automotive 400 best bets. He's also high on a huge NASCAR longshot who's around 55-1, potentially netting any backer a HUGE payday! You ABSOLUTELY NEED to see his picks before locking in any NASCAR picks of your own.
