The PGA Tour heads to California for The American Express, which will be held across three different courses in La Quinta, California. The full-field event features some big names and young talent, with 22 of the top 50 players in the world rankings getting set to tee it up beginning on Thursday. Golfers will play each course over the first three rounds. There is a 54-hole cut, giving the remaining low 65 and ties a chance to compete for the title at the host Stadium Course. Scottie Scheffler is the +550 favorite (risk $100 to win $550) in the 2024 American Express odds, while Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele are both 9-1.

Some of the past champions in the field include Jason Dufner, Adam Long and Bill Haas. There are four top-10 players in the field, with 22 of the top 50 battling for the title.
