The draft is getting closer, and I continue to hone in on certain areas of the first round where we can cash in.

Last week we focused on the quarterback markets, but there are some other opportunities -- some quite chalky and some, well, not so much -- in other strategic spots where there appear to be some obvious routes that clubs could very well follow. Of course, all it takes is a team or two doing something no one saw coming to spin things down a very different path. As much as capping the draft can be a process based on logic and information, it's also incredibly difficult for the teams themselves to peg in their internal mock drafts. Some front offices are inefficient, owners tend to meddle, and there are so many variables at play in an exercise like this.
