2024 College Football Playoff odds: Ranking best national championship picks by value after big win by Alabama

The 2024 national championship chase had its first seminal moment on Saturday with No. 4 Alabama knocking off No. 2 Georgia. The result knocked the Bulldogs from the perch as the betting favorite and moved Ohio State (at +320) into the top spot. Very little separates the top teams, however, as Alabama (+350), Texas (+500) and Georgia (+650) are still viewed favorably by sportsbooks.
