Rory McIlroy returns as the two-time defending champion for the 2023 RBC Canadian Open, set to tee off Thursday at Oakdale Golf and Country Club in Toronto. McIlroy won in 2019, then prevailed again last year after a two-year tournament hiatus. Now he'll try to win on a third course. He will have to beat a field that features reigning U.S. Open champion Matt Fitzpatrick, as well as fellow top-20 golfers Sam Burns, Cameron Young and Tyrrell Hatton. Many of the world's to players are resting for next week at Los Angeles Country Club, where Fitzpatrick will try to defend his title.

McIlroy is the 9-2 favorite in the latest 2023 RBC Canadian Open golf odds from Caesars Sportsbook. Hatton (12-1), Fitzpatrick (14-1), Burns (14-1) and Young (14-1) also are top contenders in the RBC Canadian Open 2023 field. Corey Conners (20-1), Adam Svensson (55-1) and Hughes (75-1) are the top Canadians in the nation's open championship.

Before you consider any 2023 RBC Canadian Open picks or bets, make sure you check out the PGA Tour predictions and best bets from golf betting and fantasy expert Sia Nejad, considering his domination on golf picks! Join SportsLine here to see his shocking Memorial Tournament picks!

Nejad specializes in betting and DFS in golf, among other sports. He's had incredible success in the outright and first-round leader markets and in betting head-to-head matchups. Before the Wells Fargo Championship, Nejad had Wyndham Clark among his longshot outrights, backing the 75-1 shot before he dominated at Quail Hollow for his first PGA Tour victory!

In 2022, he hit six first-round leaders in a 12-week span while peppering in tournament outrights throughout the year. In 2023, Sportsline debuted "The Early Wedge," and in the first three months of the show, he hit two first-round leaders and three outright winners. Nejad also had a winning head-to-head record in eight of 10 weeks (including full tournament sweeps on head-to-head plays). He was up more than 70 units over that three-month span!

Now, Nejad has been digging into the 2023 RBC Canadian Open field to find the best value and just locked in his best bets and favorites to avoid. Join here to get Nejad's Memorial Tournament picks now!

One thing we can tell you is that Nejad is fading McIlroy, even though he comes off consecutive top-10 finishes. The Northern Irishman has been grinding out results "but he's not in peak form," Nejad says, so the price isn't right this week.

Instead, Nejad is jumping on a few BIG underdogs, including one HUGE longshot who's priced at more than 100-1! This golfer's "scoring statistics are quite good," and the winner should certainly go low at Oakdale. If this player can shock the field and claim the victory, anyone who backs him would cash in huge! You ABSOLUTELY need to see who it is before locking in any 2023 RBC Canadian Open picks of your own!

So which 2023 RBC Canadian Open players should you target or avoid? And which golfer could bring a MASSIVE payday of more than 100-1? ... Join SportsLine right now to see Sia Nejad's top picks for the 2023 RBC Canadian Open, all from the expert who returned more than 70 units on golf picks!
