Find out who our experts view as the best bets for this week's U.S. Open 2022

The 2022 U.S. Open will tee off on Thursday from The Country Club in Brookline, Mass. It's the third golf major of the year after Scottie Scheffler won the Masters and Justin Thomas won the PGA Championship. The Country Club has hosted the U.S. Open three other times, in 1988, 1963, and 1913. Playing as a 7,260 yard, par 70 track, this old-school course features small greens and tight fairways, leaving little room for error.

The latest 2022 U.S. Open odds at Caesars Sportsbook list last week's RBC Canadian Open winner, Rory McIlroy, at 10-1, followed by Thomas, Scheffler, and last year's U.S. Open winner, Jon Rahm, at 12-1.

Now, our experts and model have dissected the U.S. Open 2022 and revealed their best bets, props, long shots, and sleepers. Join SportsLine here to see what all our experts have to say about the third major championship of the season!

Sal Johnson
is fading Viktor Hovland this week, saying he will leave backers disappointed again as his struggles in majors continue, but he is all over a 65-1 long shot.

Riley Gates says to stay away from Brooks Koepka this week. "I'd rather get burned fading him than lose backing him," Gates told SportsLine. He has locked in on a triple-digit long shot, however, who brings plenty of value in fantasy and betting.

Mike McClure's golf model wants nothing to do with Phil Mickelson, predicting that Lefty likely doesn't even stick around for the weekend. But it has locked in on four golfers with odds of 18-1 or higher who make a run.

McClure likes Will Zalatoris as one of the building blocks for his PGA DFS lineups this week. He's found a couple other golfers who should return premium value as well, and you can see all his DFS lineup advice right here.

Jim Holliman isn't siding with a Jon Rahm U.S. Open repeat, saying, "His emotions could get the best of him this week." But he does like multiple golfers with odds greater than 20-1.
