A strong post-Masters PGA Tour field will tee off Thursday at Harbour Town Golf Club at the 2022 RBC Heritage in Hilton Head Island, S.C. Five of the top 10 golfers in the world are scheduled to be on hand, including Cameron Smith, Justin Thomas and Dustin Johnson. The course is one of the most popular among PGA Tour players and will provide another challenge coming off a stern test at Augusta National. Smith was in contention on the final day but struggled down the stretch and will be eager to get back on track. Her has two victories this season.

Thomas and Collin Morikawa are the 14-1 co-favorites in the latest 2022 RBC Heritage golf odds from Caesars Sportsbook, with Smith right behind at 16-1. Johnson and Patrick Cantlay are priced at 20-1.

Who can you trust for your 2022 RBC Heritage fantasy golf picks? Before you bet this PGA Tour event or lock in any 2022 RBC Heritage Fantasy golf rankings, you HAVE TO see who fantasy expert Riley Gates is backing.

Gates is a writer for 247Sports and has covered a range of sports for nearly five years. He has followed golf closely for much longer and has a profound knowledge of the sport. He also knows what it takes to win, on the course and in fantasy sports.

At last week's Masters, eight of his 20 picks finished in the top eight, including winner Scottie Scheffler and runner-up Rory McIlroy! In fact, the top four golfers on the final leader board were among his picks. He noted that Scheffler was playing the best of anyone and that he expected him to be a contender. And of course he was, winning his fourth tournament in less than two months.

Gates was also on the money on Shane Lowry, who quietly stormed into a tie for third on Sunday. "Don't overthink it. He's playing phenomenal golf, and that should continue," the expert said of the Irishman.

The golf expert has been on a roll all season. At the Valspar Championship, seven of his picks finished in the top 12. He was on the money at Phoenix, where his five top selections all ended up in the top 10. And he NAILED his picks at the Sentry, with four of his top seven picks posting top-five finishes, and he duplicated that at the Hero World Challenge. Anyone who has followed Gates is WAY UP!

Now, Gates has ranked his top golfers for the 2022 RBC Heritage, and you'll really want to see who he is backing.

We can tell you that Gates is strongly backing Morikawa, who has been an almost guaranteed top-10 finish so far this season. He has five top-five finishes this season and has been top 10 in six of eight outings. "Morikawa is a layup," Gates says.

SHOCKINGLY, the expert is fading reigning FedEx Cup champ Cantlay, not even ranking him in his top 10! Catlay has four top-10's this season, but the most recent one was two months ago. The expert expects him to start bouncing back, but he doesn't expect the Californian to contend.

For the 2022 RBC Heritage, the fantasy expert is backing a HUGE long shot who comes in at around 50-1! Gates says this golfer is starting to put it together again this season and has done well at Harbour Town before. You ABSOLUTELY need to see who it is and check out Gates' top picks before you bet the 2022 RBC Heritage or enter any Fantasy golf picks.
