There have been five full days of Super Bowl betting,  and while the Patriots have been bet at a 60 percent ratio at most Vegas sports books, Falcons' action has held its own.

That's why every book in town still has the Patriots posted as 3-point favorites.

After two days of action, it appeared New England -3.5 might soon be on its way. Several books moved the Patriots to -3 (-120), but they were soon forced back to flat (-110 either way). One of those shops is at the Wynn.

"I've taken a couple big bets on the Patriots (six-figures)," Wynn sports book director John Avello said, "but even without those wagers we'd still be relatively even with bets and it's also counting a good size pop we took on the Falcons as a result of being at +3 (Even money)."

Avello, in the middle of finalizing 40 more player props Friday afternoon, said this is only the beginning of the betting.

"There's a ways to go before I start to move anything, but my initial thoughts were that if the number moved off 3 it wouldn't be down to -2.5, but rather -3.5," he said.

Only 5-to-7 percent of the overall action has been wagered in town so far, but the biggest question looming is when or if the books are forced to get off -3.

Most bookmakers have suggested they're going to let the money move them, but at the same time most would rather be off 3, the most common margin of victory.

The record total of 59 is still holding steady across town with solid action both ways.
