Today's picks: Why Marlins-Cubs is going Over, plus more MLB, NBA, Euro 2020 and NHL plays for Saturday

Jonathan Coachman calls up sports betting experts Mike McClure, Justin Perri and Zack Cimini on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. Get the prime plays for MLB, the NBA playoffs, the Stanley Cup playoffs and Euro 2020 for Saturday, June 19.   

The Early Edge crew looks ahead to Game 7 of Bucks-Nets at 8:30 p.m. ET. Mike reveals that Giannis Antentokoumpo's average shot distance has plummeted throughout the series, as has his usage rate, which is a positive. Mike thinks the smart Bucks coaching staff will stick to that plan for the elimination Game 7. Zack highlights the Rays as MLB's best road team that happen to be in a bit of a slump away from home yet remain road favorites on Saturday.

The Coach delivers the SportsLine Plays of the Day from the site models and experts. in Euro 2020, he is backing Portugal and Germany to both score in their noon p.m. ET matchup, while also highlight Portugal as a value play to win (draw no bet) at +130. On the ice, the SportsLine experts are backing the Islanders at +110 against the Lightning at 8 p.m. ET.

Mike is on the MLB play of the Marlins-Cubs Over 9.5 runs at 2:20 p.m. ET, and though the line has risen since he locked it in at 8.5, his numbers have the expected total at 10.4 runs. Pablo Lopez is having a fine season but has struggled mightily on the road, and with the win blowing out, he expects this total to close at 10.

Justin is going back to the well with the Angels against Tigers spot-starter Wily Peralta, making his first start since 2018. Justin is backing the Angels on the run line at -110 at 10:07 p.m. ET. He's also fading Aaron Nola by taking Phillies-Giants (4:05 p.m. ET) to go Over 7.5 runs, as Nola has been mediocre on the road this year. Justin's last play of the day is Over 9.5 (+100) on A's-Yankees at 1:05 p.m. ET, though he suggests seeing if you can still land it at 9 instead of 9.5.
