Today's picks: Why Angels will cover vs. Tigers, plus more MLB, NBA and Euro 2020 selections for Friday, June 18

The Early Edge crew looks ahead to Game 6 of Jazz-Clippers at 10 p.m. ET. Mike says there has been significant market overreaction to Los Angeles' win in Game 5. Larry looks at how the injuries to Mike Conley and Donovan Mitchell have put the Jazz on the brink of disaster. 

The Coach delivers the SportsLine Plays of the Day from the site models and experts. in Euro 2020, he is backing England at 1.5 and also win to nil over Scotland at 3 p.m. ET. In the NBA Playoffs, the Coach highlights the pick of the Hawks +3 over the Sixers at 7:30 p.m. ET. Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons just do not look capable of holding off a surging Atlanta squad. 

Mike is on the MLB play of the Blue-Jays and Orioles Over 9.5 runs at 7:05 p.m. ET. He expects both starting pitchers to get hit hard, especially Robbie Ray, who is due for a rough outing. He also likes the Cardinals and Braves to go Over 9.5 runs at 7:20 p.m. ET, as it will be a great hitting environment in Atlanta. The Cardinals are also "sneaky good" against left-handed starters. 

After coming off a 3-1 Thursday night, Justin is all in on the Angels -1.5 over the Tigers at 9:38 p.m. ET. "They have a distinct pitching advantage today," he says. "We are going to see Alex Cobb on the mound for the Angels. He has a great xSLG, about .334, which is pretty low. The Angels are also one of the top two teams over the last two weeks in Run Creation." Justin is also taking the A's and Yankees Over 9.5 runs at 7:05 p.m. ET. He says the weather conditions will lead to elevated RBI opportunities.

Larry's featured MLB prop is Mike Foltynewicz Under 4.5 strikeouts in Twins-Rangers at 8:05 p.m. ET. He has not went over the number since early in May.
