The Buckeyes have rolled to three blowout conference wins and they are expected to do the same against downtrodden Wisconsin. Badgers coach Luke Fickell went 57-18 in 6 years with Cincinnati but hasn't maintained his success in Wisconsin. Even so, we expect a spirited effort following an embarrassing shutout home loss to Iowa. Also, there should be a little added meaning to this one considering Fickell, who is clearly on the hot seat, once led the Buckeyes to a bowl win amid the departure of former coach Jim Tressel.
We can't resist the thought of being able to ride poll-hungry Ohio State against what might be the worst Wisconsin side since John Coatta went 0-10 in 1968 (though the first Barry Alvarez edition in 1990 and Don Morton's 1988 side each finished at 1-10). Whatever, the wheels have come off for the Badgers as Luke Fickell feels heat from the booster base that is used to wins and bowl trips, not beatdowns at home like Iowa administered in 37-0 fashion last week. Fickell was also forced to use his third QB, Southern Illinois transfer Hunter Simmons, to no avail last week vs. the Hawkeyes. The old bread-and-butter Wisconsin power ground game is nowhere to be seen, either, gaining a paltry 3.1 ypc. Play OSU
