The Bears are an Over bettor's dream: They score points and give up points. Meanwhile the Wildcats are finally getting healthy on offense and could have all of their projected starters in the lineup. Kansas State quarterback has the ability to gash the Baylor defense the same way that Auburn's Jackson Arnold did in the season opener. Expect a lot of points.

If ever a team needed a week off, it was the Wildcats after their disappointing 1-3 start. Back to the drawing board in the bye week, and the answer seems to be rather straight-forward...get QB Avery Johnson running again and making plays on the move. Which is exactly what happened last week vs. UCF, as Johnson ran for a season-high 75 yards and attempted only 25 passes, many of those on the move in a 34-20 win. Meanwhile Baylor has been a bit of a disappointment, already losing twice in Waco,unable to stop Jackson Arnold's runs for a one-dimensional Auburn a few weeks ago. Avery J could do similar damage as the Wildcats get a second chance to make their season. Play Kansas State

Kansas State's three losses have been by 12 points combined in 2025. Meanwhile, Baylor is 0-2 straight up at home against FBS opponents this season. Though the teams didn't play in 2024, the Wildcats won the previous two matchups in 2022 and 2023 by a combined 62 points. One way or the other I see this game being close but I also wouldn't rule out a sprinkle on the money line for the road team. Kansas State 31, Baylor 28.
