Listening to the pundit world, one might think it was all one-way traffic in Norman, when in fact the Auburn led OU deep into the 4th Q, and only lost a spread cover due to a safety when Jackson Arnold was sacked just outside of a minute to play. What hasn't been mentioned much is how DJ Durkin's defense totally shut off the Sooner infantry, forcing a difficult afternoon on OU's QB John Mateer. While the Ags continue to get accolades for the win at Notre Dame, the narrative changes with just one incompletion on a 4th down TD pass with 13 seconds to play. Absent that, and focus would likely be on what would now be an 8-game Ags spread losing streak. Play Auburn

Texas A&M has added explosiveness to its offense with the additions of KC Concepcion and Mario Craver but also seen its defense give up some yards and points with a bend-but-don't-break style. The result has been all three games going over the total, and the 41-40 win at Notre Dame might be indicative of what to expect when the Aggies face similar competition. I'd categorize Auburn as a team that's capable, and possibly willing, to hang in a shootout which makes this total a bit too low.
