The FCS models failed me in Week Zero, but they get a pass early on just like I do. To quote the late, great Bob Uecker: "Juuuusssstttt a bit" of motivation for the Tommies as they would have failed to cover +63.5 last year vs. Lindenwood (lost 64-0). The models I follow all expect this to be slightly closer. Under head coach Glenn Caruso, St. Thomas is 14-2 all-time in season openers. And I root for all St. Thomas institutions anyways as that was my grade school and church of youth (different state). Go Hornets!
