The rebuilding Huskies have notched solid home wins over marginal opponents in Michigan and USC. But they are 0-3 on the road in conference play and are in a bad spot against a Penn State club that should be angry and motivated following its annual loss to Ohio State.

When analyzing these games, sometimes we get too concerned with various stats, angles, and trends and tend to overlook a most basic indicator...home vs. road performance. And in that regard, the visiting Huskies paint a pretty start picture entering Happy Valley tonight, as they're 5-0 at Husky Stadium this season and 0-4 (SU and vs. the spread) away from their home field. Inconsistencies in the offense, without a reliable running game and QB Will Rogers blowing too hot and cold, have rendered U-Dub a slightly above-average entry in its Big Ten debut.
