Old Dominion has certainly been playing better in recent weeks, and has been good defensively, but I still have Georgia Southern as the better team. No offense to all you Monarch fans out there, but I don't see much of a homefield advantage here.

Old Dominion is a team that has gained traction with the backup quarterback starting in Colton Joseph. His first start was a close call in a back and forth game against Coastal Carolina, and the past two games the Monarchs have won outright as underdogs. The defense has provided sparks by limiting both Texas State and Georgia State to just fourteen points. Take the Monarchs to hand Georgia Southern their first loss in Sun Belt conference play.
