UCF has looked awful the last few weeks and I don't know that we can expect things to be fixed this week. Neither one of these defenses is playing well, but if it comes down to one quarterback having to make a play, I have more faith in Cincinnati's Brendan Sorsby than UCF's KJ Jefferson right now.

These teams have played similar schedules, with UCF ranking just two spots higher. Cincinnati got beaten 44-41 despite out-gaining Texas Tech 555-482 on September 28th. The Bearcats are ranked 20th in passing yards per game and 35th in completion percentage, while the Knights are ranked 121st in opponent passing yards and 127th in opponent completion percentage. Cincinnati lost to UCF 28-26 at Nippert Stadium last year despite out-gaining the Knights 515-393. They have a two-week window to prepare for this game, and it's been circled on their calendar. The Bearcats have much better special teams and red-zone statistics. UCF has to navigate around a Hurricane before this contest. I like the road dog in this spot.
