He'll have to keep firing, because the Cyclones of November differed from the Cyclones of September, with frosh QB Rocco Becht fully comfortable running he offense and frosh RB Abu Sama coming on like gangbusters, especially like his showcase game at Kansas State in the finale when running for 276 yards...on only 16 carries! This matchup cries out for a total in the 60s. Both teams retain their QBs -- Iowa State's Rocco Becht, Memphis' Seth Henigan. Memphis' defense is dreadful -- 29 ppg allowed -- and its offense content. That's why nine of the last 10 Tigers games went Over. Iowa State's offense stumbled in the opener, then topped 21 points in all but three of the remaining games. The sub-60 total can be ascribed to Memphis facing just one Power Five foe, but it did put 27 points on Missouri. And the Cyclones' D is decent at best.
