Timmy Chang and his offense in Honolulu are 20 or so years too late; the old Red Gun he piloted for June Jones a generation ago worked much better in those days because it was unique, but several iterations in the two decades since have made this current Rainbow Warriors version look almost pedestrian. Especially since Chang isn't bothering to complement overburdened QB Brayden Schager with a semblance of an infantry diversion (at 55 ypg, UH ranks a distant last in national rush stats). Meanwhile the Wolf Pack might be in the process of saving Ken Wilson's job with back-to-back wins over the Aztecs and Lobos, and late word is that QB Brendon Lewis is a go after exiting late last week.

Nevada is on its first winning streak of the season (two) and will have top RB Sean Dollars available after he missed Saturday's win over New Mexico with a concussion. QB Brandon Lewis was banged up but will play. Hawaii has lost four straight and looked arguably its worst all season Saturday in a 35-0 home loss to San Jose State.
