The Rockets have been far too inconsistent for me throughout the season to be able to trust them in a big game spot. On the other side of the field, the Ohio Bobcats have been the model of consistency all season. Even after they lost their superstar QB Kurtis Rouke to an injury, they did not miss a beat in a must win game with their backup QB CJ Harris, who got more comfortable as the game went on. Their defense is still top tier in the MAC and with a game under his belt, expect Harris to hit the ground running - figuratively and literally against Toledo.

For most of the season, Toledo looked like the class of the MAC in an up year for college football's darling conference. But the Rockets had two letdowns to end the regular season, with an upset home loss to rival Bowling Green as a two-touchdown favorite and another at Western Michigan. Meanwhile, Ohio quietly won seven straight to reach the MAC title game, with only one game decided by single figures. But the injury loss of MAC leading passer Kurtis Rourke will be felt in this one. The Bobcats got by last week with a defense that forced four turnovers and a run-heavy attack against Bowling Green. But if the Rockets can recapture their top form, they should have the edge.
