Temple has not given up a lot of points yet this season in part because they have yet to play teams that are strong offensively. That changes tonight. The Owls will have their hands full with UCF's attack and are not good enough offensively to keep up. Sometimes the Golden Knights get sloppy but as long as that is kept to a minimum, covering this spread should not be a problem.

Last season, UCF beat Temple 49-7 for its third straight blowout in the series. UCF QB John Rhys Plumlee gives so many looks that the defense doesn’t know what to prepare for. He throws a bunch in one game, then gives a look against Georgia Tech in which he throws only 16 passes and runs the ball 16 times for 100 yards. He has 417 yards rushing in five games.
