Usually a team is toast when its starting quarterback goes down, but the Red Raiders' Donovan Smith has been spectacular since Tyler Shough went down in the opener. Last week's win over Houston was impressive overall. The Red Raiders are looking to secure back-to-back wins over ranked opponents in consecutive weeks for the first time since October 2012. TTU leads the nation in passing yards, averaging 441.5 yards per game. NC State might have been a tad overrated entering the season and was lucky to win at East Carolina a few weeks ago. Don't get me wrong, the Wolfpack should win this game at home, but I don't think by more than 10.
