The Baylor Bears managed to finish out the year with four straight wins. Three of those came with starting quarterback Gerry Bohanon out with a hamstring injury. His timely return for the Sugar Bowl should give the Bears the necessary offense to match Ole Miss. Take the Bears in what should be one of the best bowl games on New Year’s Day.

I enjoyed watching both of these teams during the 2021 season, and believe the Sugar Bowl could prove to be one of the best bowls of the season. However, in the end, I have to back the Rebels due to the team's advantage at the QB spot. Unlike many other top QB prospects this bowl season, Corral has decided to play in his team's bowl game, and that will make the difference against a Baylor team that is solid just about everywhere you look, but isn't spectacular anywhere.
