Wake Forest's offense has been spectacular this season. No team has held the Demon Deacons under 35 points yet. And it's a good thing too, because their defense leaves a lot to be desired. It has been good enough to win all but one game though. And don't look now, but Clemson's moribund offense has come to life. The Tigers have scored at least 30 in three straight. Offenses drive the bus in college football, and Clemson barely even has one. The Demon Deacons, however, are averaging 6.54 yards per play and can take the ACC Atlantic with a win. Clemson is 2-7 against the spread this season, and that record will get even worse after the Sam Hartman experience rolls through town.

By any measure, Wake Forest has the better team, even with WR Justyn Ross in the Clemson lineup. One of few bright spots on the Tigers’ stagnant offense, he has twice as many catches as the No. 2 receiver but has been sidelined with a foot injury. The Deacons, with five covers against Clemson in the past seven clashes, are eager to claim their first straight-up win in more than a decade. A rare ACC title-game berth is within their sights, and the creative offense is a polar opposite to the Tigers’.
