Neither one of these offenses has been good in the red zone this season, and that is a wonderful thing to see when betting an under. It also helps that the Irish haven't been able to run the ball against anybody, and don't seem to have a clue who their QB is.

I tend to think this may get to -7 soon so let's jump. The banged-up Irish come out the bye still with potential playoff hopes and Jack Coan will start at QB. He was benched in the first quarter last time out vs. Virginia Tech but then rallied ND at the end. The much more mobile Tyler Buchner will keep playing, though, and that should only make the Irish more dangerous. In addition, star tight end Michael Mayer will play after missing the Tech game. Despite coming off its own bye, USC has a handful of injury questions. The Trojans are 3-12 ATS in their past 15 as road dogs. Notre Dame should be able to win by a TD.
