The mighty Okie offense has been missing in action. The Sooners have scrounged up just 39 points in the past two games. Now QB Spencer Rattler, who grew up in the Phoenix desert, deals with likely rainy conditions for the first time in his career. The QB who engineered K-State upsets the previous two seasons, Skylar Thompson, appears out with an injury, and the Wildcats are coming off a weak 20-point performance without him.

Oklahoma is one of a few teams that hasn’t demonstrated any reason to be a double-digit favorite, even though the Sooners always are. Oklahoma is still winning, so due credit there, but every game is going down to the wire. The Sooners’ three FBS wins, all at home, have come by a total of 15 points. Oklahoma may very well win again this week, but it will get a challenge from the Wildcats.
