They receive very little attention, but Virginia and Wake Forest just might be two of the best teams in the ACC this season. Both teams bring unique and entertaining offenses, and this is a game that should be quite enjoyable to watch. It should also be a close game, in which neither team is good enough to pull away from the other, and that makes Wake Forest catching just over a field goal an attractive option.

ACC play will begin for Virginia, which is led by one of the top quarterbacks statistically in the nation in Brennan Armstrong. The junior ranks second in both touchdown passes (11) and passing yards (1,298). Look for Armstrong’s elevated level of play to be the key piece as he missed last year’s game against Wake Forest. Back the Cavaliers to get their first win over the Demon Deacons since 2007.
