Tulane, displaced by Hurricane Ida from New Orleans before its opener, somehow found the wherewithal to nearly upset Oklahoma. Two weeks later, the Green Wave still haven’t been home, having bivouacked in Alabama, and the homesickness could catch up with them against the mighty Ole Miss offense. The Rebels have rung up 97 points. QB Matt Corral never, ever throws interceptions, so the prospect of short-field drives that often enable underdogs to stay close seems off the table.

First off, this should be one of the most fun matchups of the college football weekend. Tulane and Ole Miss have no problem putting on an offensive show and I don't think that changes much this Saturday. The problem is that everything Tulane does, Ole Miss does better...with a Heisman candidate QB and a more experienced play-caller. Lastly, don't think Lane Kiffin is going to let you outshine him in exactly what he's known for. The Lane Train is petty enough to prove a point and that plays perfectly in our favor here.
