The Spartans have been much improved behind the play of former SEC quarterback Nick Starkel, and they are coming off one of the biggest wins for the program in recent memory at San Diego State. But this nearly three-score spread is a bit ambitious. The rebuilding Rebels have shown some signs of life but they were dealt a tough hand from schedule makers who matched them up against upper-tier MWC opponents in their first three games. Look for them to compete well enough to stick inside the number.
