The one thing that stood out to me while watching Eastern Michigan's 27-23 loss to Kent State last week was how well its defense performed against one of the most explosive offenses in the MAC. If the Eagles could do that against the Flashes, they'll be able to slow down Ball State enough to stick within this number. Plus, new QB Preston Hutchinson was impressive in his debut, and showed off an arm capable of attacking the field vertically. That will help against a Ball State D that struggled in coverage last week.
