Understanding Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

Josh's Analysis:

The Horned Frogs have looked out of sync in consecutive losses that threaten to send them to another disappointing season. Now, they need three more wins against a difficult schedule stretch just to receive a fringe bowl invitation. TCU dominated its series with Texas for years before the Longhorns finally repaid the favor last season. But off a near-upset at the hands of Kansas, look for the 'Horns to have a bit of a flat spot Saturday.

Barrett's Analysis:

The Longhorns defense has been historically bad this year, but it's not like the Horned Frogs have been lighting it up on offense in October (347.5 yards per game). The Oklahoma loss is the only game this season in which the Texas offense gained fewer than 427 yards on offense. Which team do you trust more in a shootout, Texas or TCU? Hook 'em.
