The Retrievers have won and covered four straight since a 64-55 loss to these same Catamounts. In that game, UMBC trailed by two with under two minutes left. But the Retrievers could not overcome 6-of-26 shooting from beyond the arc. At home I expect the Retrievers to shoot better. For the season they make 34.8 percent of their 3-point attempts, tied for the best in the America East. They're 5-0 SU (3-2 ATS) in conference home games, including knocking off first-place NJIT 87-74. UMBC does a great job of winning the free-throw battle (outscored conference foes 184-106) and that should prove critical Thursday.
