It’s seven wins in the last eleven in the highly-competitive Big 12 for WVU, which in Ross Hodge style is doing it lately with defense, allowing only 60 ppg across the last five, and finding some offense from 5-10 sparkplug and UTC transfer G Honor Huff, who led three-point shooters nationally last season and just posted 21 on UCF in a mild upset win over the Knights at Orlando over the weekend. Help is also coming lately from backcourt mate Jasper Lloyd, who came with Hodge from UNT after last season, and scoring at a 14 ppg clip across the past two as the Mounties’ offense shows some life.
