The Ramblers lost 70-68 at home to Dayton, and I like them to be competitive in the rematch. They just hung tough in an eight-point loss to George Mason. Look for the Ramblers’ offensive rebounding to keep this respectable, despite Dayton winning its fifth in a row.

This was a very competitive game two weeks ago in Chicago when Dayton survived 70-68, but hardly sure Loyola does as well in the rematch. The Ramblers have been stumbling ever since, regressing back to early-season form when breaking extremely slow from the gate. Three more losses have ensued, including a heavy beating absorbed at GW last weekend. The defense has softened, and top scorer G Justin Moore missed the midweek loss to George Mason, though frosh Nic Anderson stepped in to score 17 in his first start. The Flyers, however, continue to win, 4-0 in A-10 action, and ready to extend the margin behind sr. G Javon Bennett (16.6 ppg), who scored 24 in the first meeting. Play Dayton.
