The new sharp edge this season for HC Andy Newman is Saint Louis transfer G Larry Hughes II, scoring at a brisk 19.1 ppg clip. Meanwhile, Cal Poly tossed a recent curveball with a stunner over UCSD, but Mike DeGeorge's Mustangs have lacked consistency, and are leaning awfully hard these days on Dayton transfer wing Hamad Mousa (20.9 ppg).
