Marquette is off a tough loss at home to the Terps, now 3-1 SU this season. Shaka Smart’s team has not been as impressive as year’s past but they’ve played the tougher opponents. Dayton lost their only road game against the Bearcats by 12 points, as opponents have been shooting 52% against their defense. Dayton doesn’t rebound the ball very well which could be the difference in this game since they have difficulty grabbing offensive boards. The Flyers are also near the bottom of the country in defending the perimeter. Marquette had a poor shooting performance against the Terps and they are playing with revenge from last season’s loss at Dayton.
