Out in the Southern Conference Wofford finds themselves steep favorites over Western Carolina. Today’s spread is actually higher then their eight point road win in the first matchup against Western Carolina. The Catamounts just had their streak of six straight games of wins or losses by nine points or fewer snapped in a 21 point loss to Samford. After back to back games of giving up more then 90 points, lay it here with Wofford.

Streaks happen into March and we have one to watch in the SoCon. The Catamounts are playing at an increasingly faster pace, reflected in seven straight overs (and 9-1 the last ten). Defense, and not much of it by WCU, is also responsible. They have been burned for 90+ points in each of the past two vs. Chattanooga and Samford. The offense has been stirring lately thanks to 6-8 soph F Marcus Kell, who is scoring at a brisk 22 ppg clip the past six games. These two played a game that landed on 146 back on January 8 before the Catamounts found their footing on offense. Note Terriers sr. G Corey Tripp is off of a 31-point effort vs. ETSU.
