Richard Pitino has had almost an entire week to hit reset after the Lobos' eight-game winning streak was snapped at Boise State last Wednesday, giving New Mexico plenty of time to prepare for another environment that has been among the most challenging in the Mountain West, at least historically. Unfortunately for San Diego State, the Aztecs are just 4-8 against the spread in Viejas Arena this year and just lost 7-foot freshman Magoon Gwath to a knee injury over the weekend. Gwath is the team's best offensive rebounder and rim protector, so while he's expected to return eventually he'll be missed here. SDSU still has a top-10 defense and a great coach in Brian Dutcher, but they're on upset alert with the Lobos in town.
