Butler has erupted for 84, 82 and 97 points during its three-game win streak, and I like the Bulldogs to be very competitive Tuesday in Cincinnati. This is a team that owns single-digit losses to the Big East's top four teams (St. John's, Creighton, Marquette, UConn). Butler is vulnerable inside defensively, but at least the Bulldogs don't foul much and defend the 3-point shot well. Xavier has notched impressive wins lately as it makes its NCAA Tournament push. The Musketeers likely win, sending Butler to 1-7 in true road games, but this is too many points.

As for Thad Matta's Butler, note overs in four straight and nine of ten, and the Bulldogs are scoring at an 88 ppg clip their last three with-Michigan State G Pierre Brooks II off a career-high 30 points vs. Georgetown.
