This could be a letdown spot for St. John’s, but they’re by far the better team. The Wildcats are 11-3 SU at home but only 6-7 ATS in conference play. St. John’s currently has the number two ranked defense in terms of efficiency and besides Eric Dixon and Wooga Poplar, that’s all the Wildcats have. Villanova relies heavily on the three and even though the Red Storm are middle of the road in defending the perimeter this Villanova offense is just too inconsistent at times.
