The A-10 race has shuffled thanks in part to different trajectories of these sides. For Dayton, a lot of indifference lately with losses in four of seven including a couple of thumpers inflicted by GW and St Bonaventure. Guards Enoch Cheeks and Malachi Smith have posted some very erratic numbers lately as the Flyers are also just 2-8 their last ten vs. the line. Meanwhile, Josh Schertz has the Bills on the upswing with wins in six of eight as his Indiana State transfers such as C Robbie Avila (17.9 ppg) & G Isaiah Swope (16,4 ppg) have adjusted well to the A-10. Saint Louis is coming off a huge victory over a VCU team that had been 16-4, and defeated them prior in conference play. Sometimes that big victory can lead to a slow start the following game. Dayton is in a dire spot off a twenty two point road loss Tuesday against St. Bonaventure. Expect Dayton to get back to the level we saw in non-conference when they defeated UConn and Marquette.
