This Valparaiso’s first true road game of the season. The Blue Demons hasn’t played the strongest schedule thus far, but they have been dominating teams at home under Chris Holtmann. They’ve beaten four of their first six opponents by 14 points, or more, thus far, with a +24.5 point differential at home. DePaul has been 60.7 % effectively at home while holding their opponents to 40.8%. Valparaiso isn’t the strongest offensive team, shooting less than 44.4% on the year. This seems like a step up in class for the Beacons.

The Blue Demons haven't been 6-0 for a while but now Holtmann has DePaul firing on all cylinders, scoring at 88 ppg while hitting 50% from the floor and 41% beyond the arc. It's all portal adds, which might be a good thing, led by ex-Coastal Carolina G Jacob Meyer (15.2 ppg) and ex-UIC G Isaiah Rivera (14.2 ppg). Valpo's losses to Liberty (by 20 points) and Cleveland State suggest the Beacons could be vulnerable in their rather short trip to Chicago. Play DePaul
