Akron lost a lot of production from last season. The Zips lost Ali Ali, Enrique Freeman and Greg Tribble, which hurts them on both sides of the ball. Arkansas State has big expectations for this upcoming season. They hit the transfer portal and got Louisiana’s scorer Kobe Julien, who averaged 17.3 PPG and 4.8 RPG for the Cajuns last year. The Red Wolves have a lot of depth and will push the pace considering they open the season at home and Akron typically wants a slow, grind it out game.
