Led by Ace Baldwin, the Nittany Lions have forced their opponents into 15.73 turnovers per game, a mark that leads the Big Ten and ranks 15th in the nation. PSU's +5.0 turnover margin ranks eighth in the country. The home team has won each of the last six regular-season matchups between the two teams.

Recent wins at Rutgers and Indiana suggest that well-regarded first-year HC Mike Rhoades (via VCU) is getting things on track in Happy Valley, where the Nittany Lions also recently dumped a ranked Wisconsin side. The wins last week on the road were all the more impressive as they were accomplished minus top scorer G Kanye Clary (18.1 ppg); he could return to active duty tonight, but in the meantime Rhoades’ vast collection of portal adds, including a couple of key cogs from his recent VCU sides (Gs Ace Baldwin and Nick Kern, Jr) have more than kept the ship afloat.
