Miami won the only meeting this season by nine points at home. Wake Forest won a buzzer beater yesterday but was able to play a lot better down-low against Syracuse’s big men. Even without their other top-scorer, Damari Monsanto, the Demon Deacons played very well as a team, grinding out a win. They now face a potent Miami offense, who has been playing close games down the stretch. The Hurricanes shot 50 percent from three and 58.7 percent from the floor in their last meeting which might be difficult to replicate as the Demon Deacons held the Orange to less than 40 percent from the floor yesterday, displaying tough defense in the second half.
