Understanding Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

Matt's Analysis:

First-place battle in the Ivy League with both tied at 5-2 in conference play. Sorry, the Ivy doesn't deign to be called a conference. The Tigers' only two losses at home are to good non-conference teams Hofstra and Delaware. They won at Cornell 75-68 on Jan. 7, and Andy Bernard's alma mater just doesn't have anyone to deal with Princeton big man Tosan Evbuomwan, who averages 13.7 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.6 assists and is an Ivy League Player of the Year candidate while having the eye of NBA scouts. Thanks in large part to the Englishman, Princeton's 29.5 defensive rebounds per game rank No. 4 in the nation. Its overall rebound margin of 7.8 ranks No. 10 nationally, and the Tigers rank No. 21 in the nation in rebounds per game, averaging 39.3. They won the battle of the boards in the first go-round with Cornell. Root toot toot to dooo!
