The Bears will have to find a way to replace their top three scorers from last season. While the offense will be a work in progress, I expect Mercer to have higher energy on the defensive end of the floor. Last year’s team was severely lacking in that department as it was blown out of several conference games. Take the Bears as East Carolina loses a season opener for the first time in over 20 years.
