I'm going to switch it up and grab what we'll call an even odds play here on the moneyline. App State is favored to win in my projections by 3.5 points and some other systems do have bigger winning margins. I think we're seeing this line because Georgia State is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games. However, they're also 4-11 ATS in their last 15 games. So there's reason to believe they're due for a let down after this hot stretch. I'll go with Appalachian to win at home, they're undefeated in home conference games.

The wrong team is favored here. The Mountaineers are the better team as they sit atop the Sun Belt conference while the Panthers are below .500 in conference play. The Mountaineers are 7-1 SU and ATS in their last eight games, including a one-points win against Georgia State. The Panthers have looked better recently but they haven’t played a team as good as the Mountaineers. I am expecting the Mountaineers to show why they are the number one team in the conference and easily take this game.
